Well baby girl, we are so excited to know you are healthy and growing and becoming a little 12 oz. person in there! Your daddy keeps telling me over the phone to say hi to you. We were married four years ago today, and someday I will tell you all about it. We have beautiful simple pictures of the little church with stained glass, and all our friends and family. It was so oddly wonderful to see your Papa wearing a tie. (The man was a jeans and t-shirt motorcycle rider. Ties were like torture.)
Someday we will watch the video of our ceremony and you can laugh as your Daddy and I fling candle wax everywhere by accident, our funny and personal vows (mine actually mentioned shoes and macaroni and cheese), and the part of the ceremony where your Daddy was crying and made a cute little hiccup noise. I love that part. We had waited for that day for so long and were so ready to begin our lives together. We had known and loved each other for four years before we got married. Looking back, I am so glad that we had already known good and bad times together, because dating someone for a short time doesn't always show you the real person. Our marriage so far has had some really hard mountains to get over, and I have never doubted that we would always survive the journey together. One day, I will tell you that you should marry your best friend and never look back.
Speaking of weddings, your Daddy is probably already envisioning yours in his head. As soon as the sonogram technician said you were a girl, your Daddy goes, "I am going to have to get a second job!" He is big on being the provider for the family. He instantly worries about your college tuition and how to afford to send you to volleyball camp. But you will always know that he will take care of you.
Well, it looks like I won't be calling you Peanut anymore... The sonogram said your measurements were perfect (to the day!) for my due date estimate, so you are getting bigger all the time. So let's start brainstorming for you a new nickname! My dad always called me Punkin. Let's see if anyone else has suggestions...

I think she will always be Peanut to me, just like I still call Ainslee "Schmoopie" sometimes :) Peanut is just too cute a name to give up.
