Well, I really look pregnant now. No hiding it. I had a business acquaintance look at my tummy and go, "Is that.....?" He was very kind, gave me his best wishes, and then said, "And some people say they don't believe in God. What a miracle!"
But I realized that people were probably making some funny assumptions when they saw me. I had to go pick up a lingerie gift for a certain Bride-to-be, and when I was browsing the store, I wondered who saw my big belly and laughed that I was purchasing something so "bridal." Like, who is she kidding? No way she is squeezing into that! They could probably hear the shotgun shells being loaded.
Then today I thought I would be nice and take lunch over to Bo since I had some appointments near his office. He was having a bit of a rough day. I had a bottle of water and some crackers in the car for me, so this is what I ordered at Burger King - a double cheeseburger (for Bo), large fries (Bo again), a chicken sandwich (mine), a large Diet Coke (Bo), and a slice of Hershey's chocolate pie (Bo's favorite). I bet the lady at the window thought I was having some insane pregnant lady craving. Good thing they don't have cereal on the menu. I would have been all over that!
