Handmade Happiness

I was introduced to the Ebay of all things homemade by another blog that I read. This particular blogger has fabulously fun taste in modern, simple designs and fun colors. I wish I could scoop up her taste and sprinkle it all over my house like magic fairy decorator dust.

So this website is called Etsy, and the requirement for selling things is that they are all unique and handmade. I have found so many cute things so far! They have art, jewelry, clothing, furniture, baby stuff (like super cute diaper bags!) and more. Some of it looks like junk you would find in your grandmother's basement and immediately take to Goodwill, but some of it is so wonderfully different than anything you can find in stores.

I found this print of the brown owl and just think he is adorable. I am not sure if he actually will go with the nursery stuff we have picked out, but we'll see. At least I have a new website to peruse when I am bored. And I have a feeling that I have quite a few friends that could be making and sell stuff on here!

Update: Bo gave me a resounding NO on the owl. I told him that I was not suprised by his distaste of all things modern.
