All About the "U"

Last night we went to the annual NCAA draft party hosted by a dear coaching friend from your daddy's old school. Basically, people pay $25 for one choice out of the bracket of 64 teams. You get to draw a number out of hat, and that determines the order of choosing teams. We paid for 4 draws, and got a wide range of picks. 5, 23, 37, and unfortunately, 64!

So here are the teams that we are rooting for in the tournament: UConn, UCLA, USC, and Morehead (they were the last team left, so we got stuck with them!) Your daddy is so excited to get to watch all the games since we just got HDTV. You and he really seemed to appreciate it the other day when he flipped over to a golf tournament. "Kate, come check out the grass!"

I have to say how good you were last night. You got a little fussy when it was time for you to go to sleep, but you eventually crashed in their guest bedroom and let us hang out for a while longer. Mrs. Wendy carried you around for almost an hour and you seemed quite taken with her! We were just excited to be able to show you off to everyone. Thanks for letting us have such a fun night!
