The Bedroom

Well, I can assure you that it is far from finished (boring walls!) but at least there is furniture in there.... Here is the lovely dresser with the giant mirror.

And the cute nightstand and bed. I think I am going to eventually use the European shams since the headboard is so tall, but I knew Bo would gasp when I told him the pillows EACH cost $20 at Bed Bath & Beyond. Too much for pillows you don't even sleep on!

I would love some suggestions on places I can find nice (affordable) modern art. I want to hang real paintings, not framed prints. I am thinking yellow would be a great contrast color, and want something simple, even abstract. I found a few things I liked on Etsy but Bo said they were "grandma-ish" like birds or flowers. But I also don't want to go all Jackson Pollock. What could possibly compete with the pattern on the bedspread?
